WHY DOES YOUR CAR NEED A FULL SERVICE?
If you want it to run to its full potential and save you money in repairs, it is essential to service it regularly. This is where a good maintenance programme comes in. Servicing will make sure the car is maintained, any niggles are seen to early, the oil is changed regularly and it gets a good going over so that when your motorised baby leaves the workshop, it will be feeling like it’s had a birthday.
Generally, cars need to be serviced every 6 months or every 10,000km – whichever comes first.
Now, here’s something you may not know
If buying a new car that comes with a warranty that says it must be serviced regularly, this does not usually mean it has to be done by the dealership that sold you the car. If the warranty says “serviced to the standards of” or something to that effect, bring it on down to us. We do service to those standards and can probably save you a lot of money in the process!
How does servicing your vehicle save you money?
We can’t tell you how many times we’ve had cars in that haven’t been maintained with people trying to save money by not getting it serviced and ended up having a car that has been neglected, things gone wrong, things started to rattle, old oil gone through over and over and not doing its job, engines not running to full potential which then puts extra strain on other parts of the car which in turns makes things brake down … and at the end of it all, one big repair bill for the owner.
A regular maintenance programme can prevent these things from happening. It won’t stop your car from ever having anything go wrong, but it will help show a lot of problems up before they turn into big expensive ones. If you keep a good maintenance programme, you are going to get a more efficient vehicle with less problems.
